Chinese SanShou/Sanda (Striking, Takedowns & Sparring)

Our style of fighting, Chinese Kickboxing, is called “San Shou” (A.K.A. “Sanda”), made popular by current middleweight U.F.C./StrikeForce fighter Cung Le and Kickboxing legend Don “The Dragon” Wilson. Traditional SanShou/Sanda training encompasses punches, kicks, elbows, knees, sweeps, takedowns, throws and submissions… Non-stop, action-packed fighting! This is an amazing style that will not only develop all of the tools necessary to become a world-class fighter, but will also forge the body into tip-top physical shape as well as sharpen the mind. San Shou is also a great fighting style for experienced grapplers looking to hone their striking and takedown skills, as it includes all of the punches, kicks, knees and elbow striking found in Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, as well as all of the takedowns, sweeps and throws found in Judo and Wrestling. Fighter Training

At FIGHT TEAM, LLC we strive to develop a strong sense of family, camaraderie and unity amongst our team. Training at FIGHT TEAM, LLC is fast paced and high intensity. You’ll constantly be challenged physically, as well as mentally. A strong emphasis is placed on keeping training unique and interesting, while still ensuring continuous improvement on the basics through proper technique and necessary repetition.

Champions train champions, and at FIGHT TEAM, LLC we offer expert training for amateur and professional fighters who intend to ‘Go to War’ in the Ring and/or the Cage. Striking, Takedowns and Submissions; all (3) phases of MMA are meticulously taught by some of the best Coaches in the business. Our Coaches do not just talk the talk, they’ve walked the walk. MMA, SanShou/Sanda, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, No-Gi Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling… they’ve competed, and won, in all arenas of the Sport Combat fight game.

In addition to the striking and takedowns you’ll find in the San Shou training, we also offer ground fighting and submissions in our No-Gi Jiu Jitsu classes. The ground may be the end for most, but in Jiu Jitsu, it’s only the beginning! Training is based on the techniques and concepts of traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the fundamental principles remain the same. No-Gi Jiu Jitsu has a modified set of grips to compensate for the lack of a uniform (Gi) to hold on to. No-Gi Jiu Jitsu is dynamic and extremely practical in real-life, as well as in the cage. In fact, much of the grappling you see in mixed martial arts (MMA) today is learned via No-Gi training. Gi’s are no longer worn in MMA fights, and our No-Gi Jiu Jitsu classes will ensure you are ready to roll when you step on the mat, or into the cage. You’ll learn to not only apply, but also how to defend against chokes, joint locks, guards, mounts, transitions, reversals, sweeps and escapes… You’ll learn every aspect of the submission game! Cardio Kickboxing & MMA Conditioning

You don’t have to get hit, to get fit! FIGHT TEAM, LLC ‘s ‘Fight Fitness’ classes are not your typical ‘Kickbox Aerobics’ or ‘Boxing for Fitness’ class, this is real training! Punching only tones the arms, ‘Fight Fitness’ is a total body workout! You’ll not merely throw kicks and/or punches to the air, or in a mirror, you’ll punch, kick, knee and elbow real targets, which provide resistance and a better overall workout! Focus Mitts, Thai Pads, 6’ft Punching/Kicking Bags, Kick Shields and Speed Bags; you’ll work with them all! You’ll learn real fighting techniques and develop a confidence that can only be obtained by actually executing them, full-force. You’re guaranteed to leave not only with a great aerobic workout (burning between 750-1,000 calories an hour), but also with an in-depth understanding of the techniques you’ve learned.
